Ganderbal, Aug 24: The residents of Reshi Mohalla, Khulmullah in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district have complained of drinking water scarcity in the area.
The locals said that they have been facing an acute shortage of water for the last four months.
They alleged that the employees of the Jal Shakti Department are paying no heed to their grievances.
“We have not received a drinking water supply for the last four months. What adds to our woes is the lackadaisical approach of the Jal Shakti officials here,” they said.
They have appealed to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shyambir to resolve their “grave issue.” (KNO)
