Increasing trend of fire incidents: Need to behave sensibly

Jammu and Kashmir has finally brought relief to nearly 400 Engineers as it has come up with a major move to regularize these employees holding different ranks, putting an end to their struggle for a long time. The Jal Shakti Department has issued regularization orders of 396 engineers in various ranks here with another 411 in the pipeline pending essential clearances. Many of those benefited by resultant pay fixation are retired officers who had been drawing pensions in lower ranks. But, this is something that needs to be cherished and also appreciated as the regularization of the employees has been the long pending demand, which has never been taken care of, rather ignored with fake promises. However, the incumbent dispensation led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has come up with the initiative, which has brought relief to the employees as well as their respective families. But, it is the time when the low rank employees, serving in the different departments, must be given similar treatment as they too deserve the regularization, for which they have been struggling since long. The protests have been witnessed from time to time, but they didn’t get any relief as they were promised high and tall, which couldn’t be delivered to them by the successive regimes. Therefore, the government should take measures for their regularization as well so that the dedication and honesty they have shown so far by serving in different departments will be appreciated by regularizing their services.
