Srinagar, Jan 3: BJP District President Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, has lauded the remarkable efforts of Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, the Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board. Shah commended her for the transformative initiatives that have elevated the Waqf Board to the status of the most prestigious organization in the valley. Under Dr. Andrabi’s leadership, the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board has witnessed a paradigm shift, with modernization initiatives, meticulous care for shrines, and a dedicated focus on uplifting the educational standards of schools and madrasas. The Board’s commitment to these areas has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the region.
“Dr. Darakshan Andrabi has exhibited unparalleled dedication in her role as the Chairperson of the Waqf Board. Her visionary approach towards modernizing Waqf institutions, preserving and caring for our sacred shrines, and addressing the degradation in schools and madrasas has made the Waqf Board the epitome of excellence in the valley,” remarked Mohammad Amin Shah. Shah added that Dr. Darakshan Andrabi has emerged in strong position in Jammu and Kashmir State politics and due to her charismatic personality she is popular among the population and role model for woman in Kashmir.
He further praised Dr. Andrabi’s illustrious political career, acknowledging her as a leader who has consistently delivered positive change. Expressing confidence in her abilities, Shah went on to wish Dr. Darakshan Andrabi success in her potential to become the next parliament member from Kashmir. During their discussions, both leaders focused on the upcoming elections and the pivotal role that the Waqf Board activities would play in the Ganderbal district. The discourse also touched upon strategies to enhance the Board’s impact on the community, ensuring its inclusive development and outreach.
