Kupwara, Feb 12: Nine persons including a woman were attacked by stray dogs at Reshawari Awoora in Kupwara raising concern about increasing population of canines.
A health official at CHC Kupwara said that nine persons attacked by stray dogs were brought to the hospital.
He said the injured were given the required treatment and three among them were shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, locals appealed to the authorities to take measures to control population of stray dogs. (KNO)
