We fought the 2019 parliamentary elections against BJP and won from all the three constituencies of Kashmir province. God willing we are on track to get the same results this time around as well,” he said.
He reiterated that the party has and will always work towards protecting and cherishing the political legacy of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. “Being the owners of that illuminating legacy, our party functionaries, workers and grass root level cadre has a greater responsibility in shouldering the worries of people and airing their issues at appropriate forums,” he said
He further added that the forthcoming parliamentary elections is primarily about sending a message to the center that what was done on 05 Aug 2019 is unacceptable to us.
He asked party functionaries to accelerate their outreach programmes and ensure the situation on ground gets propagated at appropriate forums.
