Kishtwar, Apr 5: With the Lok Sabha Elections round the corner, the District Administration Kishtwar on Friday orchestrated a comprehensive training program for zonal and sectoral magistrates under the astute guidance of District Election Officer Kishtwar (DEO), Dr. Devansh Yadav, here in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.
The primary objective of the training was to empower zonal and sectoral magistrates with the requisite knowledge, skills, and resources essential for ensuring the seamless execution of the electoral process.
Facilitating this crucial endeavour was NLMT, ECI/Training Incharge Riaz Ahmed Butt, who shared invaluable insights and expertise with the attendees.
Throughout the program, intricate discussions delved into the specific duties and authorities entrusted upon sectoral and zonal magistrates, underlining their pivotal roles in overseeing the functioning of polling stations.
DEO underscored the significance of meticulous execution of responsibilities by zonal and sectoral magistrates, underscoring their indispensable contributions towards conducting elections with utmost efficiency and transparency.
Emphasizing the paramount importance of neutrality, professionalism, and impartiality, Dr. Devansh Yadav asked all officials to adhere unwaveringly to highest standards of integrity as it is foundational for fostering public trust and confidence in electoral process.
With the Lok Sabha elections round the corner, such specialized training initiatives play a pivotal role in bolstering preparedness and efficacy of electoral processes.
By equipping zonal and sectoral magistrates with the requisite expertise and resources, the District Administration Kishtwar remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections, thus upholding the sanctity of democracy.
