Kulgam, May 7: In order to review the functioning of the Revenue department, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Tuesday chaired a meeting of officers at the mini-secretariat Kulgam.
The meeting took Tehsil wise appraisal of Revenue related public services delivery system in the district.
At the outset, the DC reviewed status of migrant, offline/online grievances and online public services delivery system.
He instructed all the Tehsildars to pay special thrust on ensuring efficient and prompt delivery of public services to their best satisfaction as envisaged under Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA).
He further asked the officers to work with added zeal and dedication while redressing the grievances to ensure their time bound, prompt and quality redressal.
The DC also directed all the Tehsildars to ensure proper enforcement of Model Code of Conduct in their jurisdictions according to ECI Guidelines and ensure smooth conduct of election related functions.
The meeting was attended by ACR Kulgam, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
