Ex-MLC Yasir Reshi, 2 others join AIP in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 2: Former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Yasir Reshi, who recently resigned from Peoples Conference (PC), Monday joined Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) in Srinagar and is all set to contest the upcoming assembly polls from Sonawari constituency in Bandipora.
The two others who joined AIP include Naseer Ahmad Rather and Advocate Raja Ashraf Ali Khan.
The party also announced a list of candidates, who will contest the upcoming assembly election from Kashmir in the second phase.
Party general secretary in an official statement said that in view of the upcoming Assembly Elections the political affairs committee headed by Ishtiyaq Qadri has recommended the Mandates of 10 candidates to the party Supremo Er.Rasheed.
The candidates include Ishtiyaq Qadri for Habakadal, Mohammad Maqbool Beigh for Harzatbal, Sheikh Aashiq for Ganderbal, Adv Javed Hubi for Char-e-Shareef, Adv Raja Ashraf for Kangan, Shoib Lone for Baramulla, Prince Parvez for Bandipora, Yasir Reshi for Sonawari, Naseer Ahmad Rather for Wagoora Kreeri and Advocate Dawood Ahmad for Lolab assembly segment.
