Elections no pre-requisite for J&K’s statehood restoration: CM’s Advisor

Jammu, Sep 11: Jammu & Kashmir: Former Union Minister and Member of Parliament, Anurag Singh Thakur, stated that the Gandhi-Abdullah families are advocating for terrorists and separatists in Jammu & Kashmir.
Anurag Thakur said, “During the rule of the three families, Jammu & Kashmir became synonymous with conflict, terrorism, and instability. But today, we are living in a Jammu & Kashmir that is progressing on the path of peace, development, and prosperity. This story of transformation is not just a result of political change, but of the determination & dedication of Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards the people of Kashmir, which has brought Jammu & Kashmir to this point. PM Modi’s commitment to stand with the people of this region at every step is well-known. Under his leadership, Kashmir has found a new direction. But now, the Gandhi-Abdullah families are saying they will repeal the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Jammu & Kashmir. They want to release prisoners, separatists, and terrorists from jails. They want to strip the people of Jammu & Kashmir of their rights. The BJP will not let this happen! The Modi government has consistently worked against terrorism and separatism. Why do they want to release enemies of the country who are locked in jail? Why do they want to disturb the peaceful Jammu & Kashmir again? Why do the Gandhi-Abdullah families have so much sympathy for drug traffickers, terrorists, and stone-pelters?”
Anurag further added, “The three families who deprived Jammu & Kashmir of its rights and acquired luxuries for themselves, it’s time that their candidates will certainly lose in elections for the misdeeds. Omar Abdullah, who previously said he wouldn’t contest the elections, is now running from two constituencies, and in both places, his condition is really weak. By revoking Article 370, the BJP has provided relief to the people of Jammu & Kashmir. After the abrogation of Article 370, Valmiki communities, Gurkhas, refugees from West Pakistan, and Gujjar-Bakarwal communities have gained rights and reservation benefits. The National Conference, Congress and PDP want to snatch these rights from these communities and the agenda of the National Conference, Congress, and PDP is the same.”
Adding further, Anurag said, “Even after 60 years of Congress rule in the country, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi never came to play in the snow of Kashmir. It was only after Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi abrogated Article 370 that the Gandhi family is able to enjoy holidays in the valleys. And now, the Congress, National Conference and PDP want to reinstate Article 370 and push Jammu & Kashmir back into the fire of anarchy, terrorism, and separatism. Jammu & Kashmir has suffered for decades due to the mistakes of the Gandhi-Abdullah families; many families were devastated, numerous soldiers martyred, and the region fell behind in economic development. Under the leadership of PM Modi Ji, Jammu & Kashmir has now witnessed development and peace, and hence, will no longer fall for the false promises of the Gandhi-Abdullah families. BJP will form the government here once again!”
