Srinagar, Nov 2: MLA Pulwama and PDP leader Waheed Parra on Saturday said that many aspirants on waiting lists for positions such as JE, FAA, JKPSI, and VLW in Jammu and Kashmir are facing issues. He said these candidates are missing out on valuable opportunities due to recent resignations and existing rules that hinder the automatic activation of waiting lists.
He called upon the government to consider a one-time exemption, similar to measures taken in Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana, to expedite the filling of vacant positions. This initiative would provide deserving candidates the chance they’ve been eagerly awaiting and facilitate their career advancement.
“Our youngsters deserve timely intervention. We hope the government hears this appeal,” Parra concluded, urging swift action to support the aspirations of the youth in the region.
