Reasi, Nov 7: At least four people were killed, and two others were injured after a vehicle met with an accident at Mahore Sub Division of Reasi district, officials said.
An official said that the accident occurred this morning at Ziarat Mode when a vehicle fell into a deep gorge. He said that three people died on the spot, and three others were injured in the accident.
Later, one more injured succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. “The vehicle was traveling from Jammu to Reasi,” they said.
The deceased have been identified as Manzoor Ahmed, age 40, a teacher and son of Abdul Rashid; Ulfat Jan, age 10, daughter of Manzoor Ahmed; Bashir Ahmed, age 28, son of Ghulam Mohammad and Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, age 42, son of Ghulam Mohammad–all residents of Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi.
The two injured have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the accident. (KNO)
