Srinagar, Jun 24: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, paid glowing tribute to the Second Caliph of Islam, Ameer-ul-Moomineen Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA), on the solemn occasion of his martyrdom anniversary.
In his statement, Mirwaiz recalled the towering legacy and unparalleled contributions of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) to the cause of Islam and humanity.
