Kupwara, Jul 17: In order to assess the current status of Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) and the implementation of schemes under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), a meeting of concerned officers was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Mufti Fareed-ud-Din at meeting hall of D.C office Kupwara Thursday.
During the meeting, ADDC emphasized the critical role of KKGs as one-stop centers for farmers to access agriculture-related services and information. He directed officers to ensure that all KKGs across the district are fully functional, adequately staffed, and equipped with necessary infrastructure to serve the farming community effectively.
ADDC also reviewed progress on various components of the HADP, including farmer registration under the DAKSH Kisan portal, dissemination of scheme benefits, and outreach activities being conducted by Krishi Udyamis and field extension staff.
Officers were instructed to accelerate awareness and mobilization efforts at the grassroots level to ensure 100% farmer coverage under the HADP initiatives.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer Kupwara, District Agriculture Officer, SDAOs, AEOs, Krishi Udhyamis and other concerned officials.
