Srinagar, Sep 20: Khyber Cement has once again set a benchmark by becoming the only company in Jammu & Kashmir to implement the state-of-the-art SAP S/4HANA platform. With the launch of Project NISHAT, Khyber Cement has taken a decisive step to strengthen its position as the market leader.
The kick-off ceremony at the company’s head office in Hyderpora marked the beginning of a strategic collaboration with SAP and its implementation partner, Grant Thornton. Through this digital transformation, Khyber Cement is equipping itself with seamless process integration, enhanced transparency, and real-time intelligence capabilities that ensure it is future-ready and resilient.
Reflecting on this milestone Umar Tramboo, Director Corporate & Strategy, shared, “Our aim is to lead from the front. This transformation gives us the agility and strength needed to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market.”
Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Head of Commercials, Legal & Regulatory Affairs, added, “This is more than a technology upgrade—it’s about pushing boundaries, driving excellence, and reinforcing our responsibility towards the trust people place in Khyber Cement.”
Echoing the same vision, Purshotam Singh, Chief Accounts at Khyber Cement, stated, “Project NISHAT is not just about systems, it’s about shaping a culture where data-driven agility and accountability become part of our DNA.”
Just as the Nishat Gardens embody prosperity and timeless beauty, Khyber Cement chose the name to represent its commitment to growth, energy, and the promise of prosperity for the people of the region.
By leading such initiatives, Khyber Cement continues to prove why it is the most trusted cement brand, setting new standards for others to follow and demonstrating readiness to take on any challenge that the future may bring.
