Boy injured in Tral road accident succumbs to injuries

Pulwama, Oct 21: A boy from Hardair area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, who was critically injured in a road accident a few days ago, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Ariz Gaffar, son of Abdul Gaffar Bhat, a resident of Hardamir, Tral. He had sustained critical injuries after being hit by an unidentified vehicle at Hardamir earlier this week. After the incident, he was shifted to hospital for treatment where he battled for life for several days before succumbing.
Family sources confirmed that despite the best efforts of doctors, Ariz could not survive the grievous injuries. His death has left his family, friends, and the local community devastated.
Police have already registered a case and are making efforts to identify and trace the vehicle involved in the accident. [KNT]
