Bandipora, Mar 19: District Administration Bandipora organized a one-day Potential Entrepreneurship Mela under Mission YUVA at GDC Sumbal.
During the mela, various departments including Handicrafts and Handloom, Agriculture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, NRLM, DE&CC, J&K Bank and RSETI set up stalls to showcase schemes and provide on-the-spot guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs. Help desks and advisory counters were established to facilitate interactions regarding credit facilities, training programmes, and institutional support.
Sanction letters were also distributed among applicants whose cases had been approved by the bank, marking a significant step towards facilitating entrepreneurship on the ground.
Successful entrepreneurs and members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) also participated in the event and shared their experiences, motivating aspiring youth to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
The programme witnessed active participation from local youth, women entrepreneurs, officials, and other stakeholders.
