Kulgam, Jun 13: Minister for Education, Health and Social Welfare, Sakeena Itoo, Saturday visited Kulgam and presided over the Graduation Day Ceremony at Ayesha Ali Academy.
Sakeena Itoo congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to pursue excellence through dedication and continuous learning.
Addressing the gathering, She stated that the government is committed to strengthen the education sector and is continuously working to ensure quality education for every child across Jammu and Kashmir. She highlighted that the present dispensation is focused on providing better infrastructure and modern facilities in educational institutions to create a conducive learning environment. She said sustained efforts are being made to enhance the teaching standards and expand educational opportunities for the students.
The Minister stressed the importance of using technology in a positive and productive manner. She exhorted upon the students to optimally harness the digital tools for learning, innovation and personal growth while avoiding their misuse.
Highlighting the pivotal role of teachers, she said the educators must identify and nurture the unique talents of every student while also understanding and addressing the challenges they face. She called upon the teachers, parents and educational institutions to work collectively in shaping the future of young learners.
She stated that continuous efforts are being made to provide more facilities and create an inclusive, future-ready education system that empowers the students to succeed in every sphere of life.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Shahzad Alam highlighted the achievements made under the education sector in the district.
