Srinagar, Oct 2: Jammu and Kashmir has recorded more than 96.70 lakh applications through its online public-service delivery platform, with nearly 9 lakh applications still under process, according to the latest government data available on the ServicePlus portal.
The ServicePlus state-wise report shows that J&K has 393 online services and has received a total of 96,70,271 applications. Of these, 76,41,439 applications have been delivered, while 8,99,327 remain under process.
The data also shows that 11,29,505 applications have been rejected. The figures reflect the scale of digital service delivery being used by citizens across the Union Territory for accessing government services online.
The official ServicePlus platform provides citizens with access to a range of government services and allows applicants to track the status of their applications online. The system also provides departments with mechanisms to process applications and monitor service delivery.
The latest figures represent an increase from the data available on the J&K JanSugam portal on Sep 30, when the platform showed 95,79,063 applications received, 86,95,585 disposed and 8,83,478 pending.
The government’s digital service infrastructure has continued to expand, with the ServicePlus system designed to provide online access to government services and reduce the need for citizens to visit government offices for services covered by the platform. [KNT]
