Violations must not be ignored

The government has time and again directed the private schools to stop collecting under charges from the parents for the period of lockdown after it has received a number of complaints in this regard from the parents, who claimed that the school administrations have been forcing them to charge fees other than tuition fee. The government has already made it clear that the parents should not be asked to pay miscellaneous charges other than tuition fee. However, as the violations have surfaced, one fails to understand why the government instead of taking action has yet again come up with the mere directions. One fails to understand when the private schools, involved in violating the set government norms, will face the action. It seems that the private educational institutions are being given further chances to loot the poor people amid the disturbed situation for the people on the ground due to the ongoing deadly Covid-19 pandemic. There is a need to ensure that the people are not forced to face hardships and that the schools involved in violating the norms, should be dealt with strictly as per the law. By showing reluctance over taking action, has been paving way for the private schools to loot the parents, who have not earned their livelihood since long due to the lockdown imposed by the government in wake of the deadly pandemic. The government must start taking action instead of making statements only.
