There is sun and chill,
There is natural thrill,
Monal ,the pheasant and hangul ,the deer,
It is Chon kasheer and meion kasheer

2. There are fruit laden trees,
Honey gathering swarms of bees
Paddy fields and grassland greens
Pine forests and natural scenes,
White snows and skies clear,
It is chon Kasheer and Meion Kasheer!
3. You enter a lane or bylane
you come across a common man,
He cries Garrha, Nudru, Haak ,
He is sturdy just like rock,
Bargains for his sale, here and there
He talks with dignity and utmost care,
You call at friends, they offer chae sheer
It chon Kasheer and Meion Kasheer!
4. Bul Bul Shah, Lel Ded, Nund Rishi,
Talk about, one God, just and kind,
Tell us to keep Him, in our mind ,
Show deference to saint and seer,
This is chon Kasheer and Meion Kasheer!
This in fact Our Kashmir!
