Kashmir tourism bounces back after Pahalgam massacre

The government was in a hurry rush late Thursday evening to call a presser and inform the people through the medium of media that there was no shortage of drugs like Remdesivir and other drugs as well as the COVID vaccine. However, the claims are being punctured by the top government officials itself, when they openly claimed that there was a shortage of vaccine and the supply is being made available shortly. One fails to understand what the government is trying to pretend by providing misleading statements before the media. The million dollar question remains whose cause can be served by providing contrary statements. The people have the every right to know the facts and actual situation. There is no doubt that the government as well as the medical fraternity is doing its best to combat the virus. But, amidst such a fight, the people must be made aware about the situation so that they can cooperate with the administration completely as providing contrary statements is only creating a wedge between the government and the people. As the situation due to COVID-19 is turning bad from worse with each passing day, the government should come forward and clear the picture over the prevalent situation and seek the complete cooperation of the people at this juncture so that the virus, which is spreading rapidly can be prevented from spreading any further and the people as well as the administration here could heave a sigh of relief.
