The majority of the roads in Srinagar and other districts of Jammu and Kashmir wear deserted look from the last over 15 days due to the Corona Curfew imposed by the government in order to prevent the Corona Virus from spreading in the Union Territory. However, amid such a situation, some truck drivers from different States of the Country are stuck in Mandis here. The stranded truck drivers have not been even provided some food stuff in the last ten days, thus leaving them to lurch at large in the ongoing lockdown period. The truck drivers are stranded as they have not received the amount from the people in Mandi. They have been waiting for the day when the government will announce the reopening of the Manids so that they can get the amount to return home. Nonetheless, the stranded people have not been provided any sort of relief in the last days and thus have been left to lurch at large. The administration should have already announced a team for ensuring food stuff and other related help to the people who are stuck in Jammu and Kashmir amid the prevalent situation here. To ensure that the poor and stranded will not suffer, the government should come up with teams in all the districts, directing them to visit all the Mandis and highways and other places to help the stranded drivers or other people across the Union Territory. All those in need should be assisted in the present tough difficult times so that they could heave a sigh of relief.
