Budgam, Aug 29: Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan Monday reviewed the functioning of the Rural Development Department at Block Beerwah.
On the occasion, a detailed review of the functioning of the Rural Development Department was taken to know the progress of various works being undertaken under PRI, BDC and DDC grants.
Block Development Officer Beerwah, Pir Shakeel Ahmad gave a detailed presentation about the status of various works particularly SBM—Gramin, construction of Compost Pits and Amrit Sarvorar.
Chairman DDC impressed upon all the officials to work in close coordination to achieve the required targets. He further added that all officials should improve their performances and ensure viable implementation of all schemes on the ground.
Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam, Akramullah Tak; BDO Beerwah, Pir Shakeel Ahmad; AEE REW Beerwah Sajad Ahmad and all employees of RDD Block Beerwah were also present.
