Baramulla, Mar 19: A grand function was held in Baramulla to celebrate the completion of 100 years of St. Joseph’s School. The historic milestone was marked with great enthusiasm and joy.
On this special occasion, Agriculture Minister Javid Ahmad Dar attended as the Chief Guest. The event was also graced by the GOC of the 19 Infantry Division, SSP Baramulla, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, and other senior officials.
Students presented colorful cultural programs, which were widely appreciated by the audience. A large number of parents also attended, adding to the vibrancy of the celebration.
As part of the centenary celebrations, a special function was also held at the church (associated with the school), which has also completed over 100 years. Members of the Christian community, including priests, participated in the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Javid Ahmad Dar said that St. Joseph’s School has produced many talented individuals over the past century, including doctors, engineers, and professionals from various fields. He mentioned that he is also an alumnus of the institution and expressed hope that the school will continue to grow and achieve greater success.
The event concluded with Principal Suresh Britto expressing gratitude to the distinguished guests, while Vice Principal Suci Rajan extended a warm welcome to them.
