Srinagar, Sep 6: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference will observe the 44th death anniversary of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on September 8 across Jammu & Kashmir, including at the Mazar-e-Quaid Naseem Bagh Hazratbal, party office Jammu, Kargil party office and all district Headquarters.
Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah dedicated his life to the dignity, rights and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. His vision of social justice, equality, political empowerment and people’s dignity continues to inspire generations.
On his death anniversary, J&K National Conference calls upon the youth to carry forward his legacy with courage, unity and renewed determination, keeping the welfare and aspirations of the people at the centre.
A special Quran Khwani majlis will be held at the Mazar-e-Quaid in the morning on 8th sept. At 10:00 AM, Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah,Vice President and Hon’ble Chief Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, along with senior party leaders, legislators and workers will pay homage to Sher-e-Kashmir at the Mazar-e-Quaid.
The party invites the people to join the programmes and reaffirm their commitment to the values and legacy of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. (KNS)
